157 REASONS NOT TO SIN!
1.) And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call HIS name Jesus: for HE shall save HIS people from their sins. Matt. 1: 21
2.) Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matt. 5: 6
3.) Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matt. 5: 8
4.) For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matt. 5: 20
5.) Be you therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matt. 5: 48
6.) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity. [evil, sin] Matt. 7: 23
7.) The Son of Man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that cause to sin, and them which do iniquity. Matt. 13: 41
8.) But if anyone causes one of these
little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a
large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Matt. 18: 6
9.) Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such
things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come! Matt. 18: 7
10.) If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. Matt. 18: 8
11.) And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell. Matt. 18: 9
12.) Even so you also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Matt. 23: 28 (Covers every sinner)
13.) That He would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve Him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before Him, all the days of our life. Luke 1: 74-75 (Some of us are DELIVERED, and are HIS holiness and righteousness all the days of our lives, [24 hour days])
14.) The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his Master. Luke 6: 40 (Perfect in the ORIGINAL = mentally and MORALLY complete, not just “mature” as the “fallen" versions purpose.)
15.) The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, ‘Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world. John 1: 29 (The LAMB did NOT fail that prophecy except for unbelievers.)
16.) That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. John 3: 6 (If the “flesh” still rules you, you are NOT “which is born of the Spirit,” according to this verse)
17.) Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, you are made whole, sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto you. John 5: 14 (NOT a “if you feel like it, commandment, and ALL the WORD’s of CHRIST is A COMMAND)
18.) She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more. John 8: 11 (Christ is just wasting HIS WORD’s on unbelievers)
19.) Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin. John 8: 34 (Only the “saved to sin” try to be “servants of sin” and godliness out of the same mind)
20.) Which of you try to convinces me to sin? And if I say the truth, why do you not believe me? He that is of God hears God's words, you therefore hear them not, because you are not of God. John 8:46 (ALL ministers of sin, try to con-vince others to sin because they (sinners) are NOT of GOD! GOD said so HIMSELF so it really doesn’t matter what you believe)
21.) If you love me, keep My commandments. John 14: 15 (Commands like “You shall be perfect as your Father in heaven is Perfect.” Oh your father is not perfect, only mature?)
22.) And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. Of sin, because they believe not on me. John 16: 8-9 (Unbelievers sin and do NOT what to be reproved. NO righteous sinners. NO sinning Christians!)
23.) I in them, and thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one. John 17: 23 (This means the “imperfect” are not IN HIM. NO “ministers of imperfection are ONE with the PERFECT WORD, No NOT one.)
24.) And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Acts 15: 9 (Unbelievers, all of them, have NOT the faith to have their hearts PURIFIED BY FAITH.)
25.) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold unrighteousness as the truth. Rom. 1: 18 (ALL = ALL to GOD and HIS godly servants of godliness)
26.) But unto them that are contentious [argue] and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath. There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on sinning of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile. Rom. 2: 8 (This is those you continually “argue FOR their sin, they do NOT obey the TRUTH that would have set them FREE!)
27.) But if your unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall you say? Is God unrighteous who takes vengeance? Rom. 3: 5 (Is your unrighteousness going to miss HIS vengeance? Not according the TRUTH here. They “say” they can do unrighteousness and be “righteous” to GOD. Their “god” believes this LIE and is the author of all lies.)
28.) Even the righteousness of God
which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for
there is no difference. Rom. 3: 22 (UNbelievers do not believe that
anyone can live “even the righteousness of GOD, here and NOW. They be still
“working on their own righteousness, with fear and trembling.)
29.) Being justified [made innocent] freely by His grace through the redemption
that is in Christ Jesus. Rom. 3: 24 (NO innocent “guilty” sinners no matter
what they call themselves.)
30.) Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation [restoration] through faith in
His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission [omission] of sins
that are past, through the forbearance of God. Rom. 3: 25 (Unbelievers do NOT
have faith in the POWER of the “blood” to “declare nothing but “their
unrighteousness.)
31.) To declare, I say, at this time His righteousness. . . Rom. 3: 26a
(AT THIS TIME HIS holiness and Purity is ALL the saints declare. Unbelievers
“declare” their unrighteousness.)
32.) That as sin has reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom. 5: 21 (Unbelievers are still sinners so they cannot say “sin HAS reigned.” Grace ONLY reigns thru righteousness, according to the TRUTH anyway)
33.) What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Rom. 6: 1-2 (If there was no other stated TRUTH in the WORD, this would beat all your “keep your sin and get in lies, all by its self.)
34.) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Rom. 6: 6 (Believers believe their “OLD MAN” of sin is DEAD, crucified with the WORD, that they will NOT serve sin. Any sinner is still serving sin, and their “old nature is still on the thrown.)
35.) For he that is dead is freed from sin. Rom. 6: 7 (Unbelievers do NOT believe this!)
36.) Likewise reckon you also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom. 6: 11 (“Reckon = consider, imagine, suppose, BELIEVE, also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin. Unbelievers do NOT believe this at all, even though GOD stated this by HIS WORD. Unbelievers do NOT believe the WORD.)
37.) Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in the lusts thereof. Rom. 6: 12 (Unbelievers have trouble understanding the words “LET NOT” sin reign. NOR do they understand the “simple” words “you should obey it in the lusts thereof.”)
38.) Neither yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin, but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Rom. 6: 13 (Sinners always Yield to sin, this is why they are sinners. But real saints do NOT Yield, they are alive from the dead and are truly His righteousness.)
39.) For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace. Rom. 6: 14 (Sin shall NOT have rule, dominion = NO SIN. NO sinner is “under grace!” NO grace FILLED sinners. No graceful sinners, NONE!)
40.) What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Rom. 6: 15 (NO carnal minded sinners is “UNDER GRACE” GOD FORBIDS this.)
41.) Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey, whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Rom. 6: 16 (Sinners try to “say they do NOT yield BUT GOD said they do “yield” themselves to sin. ALL sinners are Disobedient servants of sin according to this TRUTH, anyway.)
42.) But God be thanked, that you were the servants of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine, which was delivered you. Rom. 6: 17 (WE WERE (Past Tense) servants of sin but THANK GOD “we obeyed form the mind which “delivered us. NO “saved sinners.)
43.) Being then made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness. Rom. 6: 18 (Saints are FREE FROM SIN and HAVE become servants of righteousness, according to the TRUTH. ONLY the FREE FROM SIN are servants of the PURE WORD.)
44.) I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh, for as you have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. Rom. 6: 19 (Unbelievers are still “yielding to sin.” BUT we “even NOW yield “our members servants to righteousness unto holiness. ALL sinners are liars and ALL sin is a LIE.)
45.) For when you were the servants of sin, you were free from righteousness. Rom. 6 : 20 (Sinners are not in the “WERE” group and are FREE FROM Righteousness, no matter what lie they live.)
46.) But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, you have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Rom. 6: 22 (NOW = Right NOW, at THIS TIME MADE FREE FORM SIN Before “we” became servants of GOD! GOD, the real ONE does NOT have part time ungodly sinners as servants. Everlasting life comes AFTER the FREE FROM SIN, according to the TRUTH, anyway.)
47.) There is therefore now no condemnation to them, which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
48.) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Rom. 8: 2 (Sinners are NOT FREE FROM the Law of sin and separation. All who sin are NOT “IN CHRIST” but outside HIS PERFECT WILL and Plan of HOLINESS. NO holy sinners.)
49.) That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
50.) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
51.) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. Rom. 8: 7 (This just “shot out” ALL of Rom. Ch. 7 as a Christian testimony, The Sin minded is “carnal minded” or the ”human minded” is enmity against GOD, and NOT subject to the LAW of LOVE, because the “sin minded” are ALL selfish, and ALL selfishness is sin.
52.) But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ , he is none of His.
53.) For if you live after the flesh, you shall die! But if you, through the Spirit, do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live.
54.) What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. Rom. 9: 14 (All who sin can NOT comprehend this verse, nor do they believe “Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.”)
55.) For if the first fruit be holy, the lump is also holy, and if the root be holy, so are the branches. Rom. 11: 16 (NO holy sinners, none, because their ROOT is not holy.)
56.) And be not conformed to this world, but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Rom. 12: 2 (No one who is STILL conformed to the world has been transformed to the PERFECT WILL of GOD. NO acceptable sinners. NO “good” sinners! GOD said that!)
57.) For who has known the mind of the Lord, that He may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1Cor. 2: 16 (Sinners, all who sin, do NOT know the MIND of the LORD, BUT “we” have the MIND of CHRIST and NO other mind do “we” have, NONE.)
58.) Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? 1Cor. 6:9 (Sinners who live the LIE believe that they can live unrighteous live and inherit the kingdom of GOD! Unbelievers do NOT believe their unrighteousness is really seen by GOD.)
59.) Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy, for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. 1Cor. 3: 16-17 (ALL who sin believe they are the temple of ungodliness and they believe the GOD just love their filthiness and HE will not “DESTROY them. Just ask one they believe they can “DEFILE, corrupt, pollute, contaminate, and spoil “their” body and mind temples and all they have to do is just “say their sorry.”)
60.) Awake to righteousness, and sin not, for some have not the knowledge of God, I speak this to your shame. 1Cor. 15: 34 (NO sinner is AWAKE to righteousness and they do NOT have the knowledge of GOD the WORD and they should be ashamed, but most really are not ashamed enough to “SIN NOT.”)
61.) Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness? 2Cor. 6: 14 (What “fellowship can CHRIST have with a “sinner?” NONE! And Light can NOT communicate the TRUTH with darkness. Darkness is to “dumb” to comprehend the LIGHT of the WORD.)
62.) Wherefore come out from among them, and you be separate, says the Lord, touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 2Cor. 6: 17 (Any who sin have NOT “come out from among them” but are still among them. GOD said DO NOT TOUCH the unclean thing THAN HE will receive you. NOT before according to your lies.)
63.) Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2Cor. 7: 1 (All who sin HAVE NOT cleansed themselves form ALL FILTHINESS of the FLESH and spirit. What part of ALL do you not understand the A or the ll? If ALL Filthiness is cleansed (Past tense) than and only than is there PERFECT HOLINESS, this is the reverence to the WORD of GOD.)
64.) Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect by the flesh?
65.) This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
66.) For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh, and these are contrary the one to the other, so that you cannot do the things that you would.
67.) Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Gal 5: 24 (Means any who HAVE NOT Crucified the flesh with the affections and lust, longings and desires do NOT BELONG TO CHRIST.)
68.) For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
69.) And that you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Eph. 4: 24 (NO “new man” with the “old man” (sin nature) can be “created in righteousness and TRUE holiness, NONE of them! All who sin live a lie.)
70.) That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Eph. 5: 27 (NO glorious sinners because ALL who sin have spots! All who sin have wrinkles, still. All who sin still have ANY SUCH THINGS. But the TRUE Christian is holy and without blemish.)
71.) Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. Phil. 1: 11 (Filled can NOT have any room for any unrighteousness when a soul is FILLED with the Fruits of righteousness. If a vessel has any room what so ever, than it is NOT Filled. Anything that is “filled with the SPIRIT of HOLINESS has NO place for sin, NONE!)
72.) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Phil. 2: 5 (Any who sin do NOT have the MIND of CHRIST because they will NOT allow that MIND to be in them.)
73.) That you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as lights in the world. Phil. 2: 15 (NO “blameless and harmless sinners, NONE! Darkness can NOT conceive nor perceive the TRUTH that sets a soul FREE, or they would not be bound to sin.)
74.) For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
75.) Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Col. 1: 13 (All who sin are still under the power of darkness, that is just the nature of the “beast.” Only those who sin NOT HAVE BEEN translated into the kingdom of HIS dear SON.)
76.) Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. Col. 1: 28 (The Unbelievers do NOT believe that the PERFECT WORD of GOD can present perfect believers unto HIMSELF. The “warning” came Before the teaching, every man.)
77.) In the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in HIS sight. Col. 1: 22 (NO holy sinners! ALL who sin are to blame.)
78.) And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him. Col. 3: 10 (Any who sin are NOT created in the image of the SINLESS ONE! None who is “have put on the NEW man, but just say they are “trying their best.)
79.) That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor.
1Thes. 4: 4 (ONLY saints know HOW to possess their vessel in holy dedication and honor.)
80.) For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. 1Thes. 4: 7 (ALL who sin are UNCLEAN and ALL who sin are NOT holy. Point blank, NO sinner is called of GOD.)
81.) To the end He may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all HIS saints. 1Thes. 4: 13 (No one who sins have had their “hearts established in no thing but sin. Only saints, NO sinning saints, can come with ALL HIS saints, no one who sins is ALLOW to be in that number.)
82.) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved. 2Thes. 2: 10 (All who sin, sinners, are “all deceived by unrighteousness because they “received not the love of the truth that they might be saved.” Saved = delivered! Not “saved in sin” but DELIVERED FROM SIN.)
83.) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2Thes. 2: 12. (Any who sin are damned because they do NOT believe that they can live without sin. They all take pleasure in unholiness because they desire it more than the TRUTH. The TRUTH shall set you FREE but they say “NO not really FREE, almost free.)
84.) Let no man despise your youth; but you be an example of the believers, in WORD, in conversation, in charity, in SPIRIT, in faith, in purity. 1Tim. 4: 12 (All who sin have the conversation to convince others they have to sin. NO purified sinner, NONE!)
85.) Them that sin rebuke before all that others also may fear. 1Tim. 5: 20 (If the “saints” went to the sin-o-gods of satan (where the special “saved to sinners fellowship," the saints would spend all their time REBUKING the liars before all that the “others,” shall fear. Why would the SPIRIT of HOLINESS [no holes for sin to seep thru] command saints to REBUKE “them that sin” if sin were hoky-doky with the HOLY ONE?)
86.) Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep yourself pure. 1Tim. 5: 22 (NO sin allowed in that verse! I am not to agree with your sinning ways or your filth may want to attach to my soul. I am to KEEP myself PURE. NO purified sinners!)
87.) Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are HIS And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2Tim. 2: 19 (This TRUTH sure leaves the so-called Christians out because they HAVE NOT DEPARTED, refrained, abstained, ceased, desisted, stopped FROM SIN to be TRUE Christ like souls.)
88.) If a man therefore purges himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and able for the Master's use, and prepared unto every good work. 2Tim. 2: 21 (Any who still sin, have NOT purged them selves FROM falling short of the Perfect WORD. ALL who sin are not “vessels of honor.” But vessels of horror! Sinners are NOT sanctified, as they are still trying the “Process of unbelief” to rid their desires for sin. They are NOT “ABLE for the PERFECT Master’s use, as they are an abomination to the Perfect Master. And they are NOT prepared for EVERY GOOD deeds, as when they try to good they find they can not do so. They claim sin is the way, the truth and the life they have to live.)
89.) Flee also youthful lusts, but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2Tim. 2: 22 (NO sin allowed in that WORD of GOD. NO youth filled lusts. I guess you would have to “find some old people lusts if you really “FLEED the youth filled lusts? Sinners only follow after righteousness and never GET IN Righteousness and NONE have a PURE heart, NONE of them.)
90.) That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2Tim. 3: 17 (The people of GOD, the PERFECT ONE not the imperfect one, are Perfect, completely furnished for ALL good work. NO good sinners!)
91.) Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled Titus 1: 15 (The purified are pure! Those who are working to purity are still defiled and do not believe others can be so pure. Even the minds and thoughts are defiled. Condition of all who sin,)
92.) They profess that they know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Titus 1: 16 (Any who sin, sinners, say they know GOD but in works they deny HIS POWER to overcome. All who sin are abominable and disobedient, worthless because of their reprobate, or perverted and defiled minds.)
93.) Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Titus. 2: 12 (Any who sin deny godliness instead of denying ungodliness and worldly lusts. We who are saints deny ungodliness and we live godly and righteous in this present world, NOW! Today, at this time,)
94.) Who gave himself for us, that HE might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto HIMSELF a peculiar [special] people, zealous of good works. Titus 2: 14
95.) Not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but according to HIS mercy HE saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior. Titus 3: 5 -6 (Only righteous saints (no righteous sinners, no not one) are the only ones who are “regenerated and not the going to be regenerated, some day they “their” working to righteousness, sinners try to do, but there is NO righteous sinner, no not one.)
96.) . . . when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Heb. 1: 3 (No sinner is “purged” FROM sins! Purged is a PAST tense verb and NOT a future tense verb. Purged = clean, cleansed, flushed out, sanitized, spotless, undefiled, pure, and holy. “By HIMSELF means HE DID the purging and not “us” as we just live as HE purged us)
97.) You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity, therefore God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows. Heb. 1: 9 (All sinners love their sin, GOD said so thru James 1: 14. “drawn away by their own lusts” that they love to do. Saints HATE sin and really love righteousness, purity and holiness. Sinners mock the purity of saints as they themselves do not believer “others” can live that pure.)
98.) For both, He that sanctified and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brethren. Heb. 2: 11 (GOD just said that the unsanctified are not one with Him and only the “sanctified are one with the PERFECT WORD.)
99.) But with whom was He angered forty years? Was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness? Heb. 3: 17 GOD just said HE was truly angry with all who sin, every day. Psalms 7: 11)
100.) Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in HIS sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of HIM with whom we have to do. Heb. 4: 13 (that just canceled the lie of “GOD doesn’t see a sinner sin!” OR their sins are covered in their sins. The “naked” can not be covered.)
101.) For then must He often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world has He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. Heb. 9: 26
102.) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many, and unto them that look for Him, shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Heb. 9: 28
103.) For then would they not have ceased to be offered? Because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. Heb. 10: 2
